I know that most people will have a problem with me keeping Stanford at #1 after their game. Just a few notes as to why: 1) They did not lose. I am not going to drop them for a game they didn’t lose. 2) I don’t like to award teams on a bye. Had LSU or Alabama played an opponent, they may have hopped Stanford. 3) LSU and Alabama will both have the opportunity next weekend to make their case for number 1. Stanford was one of my pre-season picks to play in the national title game, so until they lose, I am sticking with my guns and keeping them at the top spot.

simplyfootball asked: Wisconsin at #1?? Wow. I have Nebraska with the upset this weekend.
I have had Wisconsin at 1 for the whole season simply because they are my pick to win the national championship. Until they show me that they don’t deserve, which very well may happen this weekend, that is where they will stay.
If Wisconsin gets past Nebraska though, I believe they have the easiest path to being undefeated, with the exception of Boise State.
